I don't understand. Is the GT86 supposed to be better looking than a Scirocco?

The 86 cars look nice, but they have too many silly detailings, like the fake front fender vent cutout/scallop, the bizarre kick up from the sill, and that chunky rear deck, and the worst resolved line work around the headlights.

It's a shame, because I love the silhouette of the car.
